This morning, 900 students from 11 different schools around Cullman County gathered at the Betty Leeth Haynes Auditorium to kick off their Super Citizen Program. The students flooded the auditorium with excitement and every seat was filled as Libby Liberty™ came to stage to tell the students what was ahead: the Super Citizen program that teaches them about their country, freedoms and how they are the future of our country.

They will learn over the next weeks how they can make a huge impact in their communities through service and leadership. To wrap up the program, they will nominate and honor a local hero who has made a difference in their lives.

This program in Cullman County was made possible by Wells Fargo and there were representatives in attendance that shout and sang about freedom with the students. The Liberty Learning Foundation is grateful to Wells Fargo and Cullman for all they do for the future of these students, our next great Americans. The schools in attendance were: Cold Springs, Fairview, Garden City, Good Hope, Hanceville, Harmony, Holly Pond, Parkside, Vinemont, Welti and West Point.
