We sent sheets of paper asking students to thank their teachers and our sponsors for the valuable lessons they are learning in the Super Citizen Program. We were so amazed with their thoughtful answers that we showed up at Gardendale Elementary School to document their responses on film! When we arrived at the Gardendale celebration event, we watched as students honored local heroes from stage and surprised Alabama Power Representatives by calling them to the stage as well. Students introduced the video above and thanked Alabama Power for being a super corporate citizen for sponsoring the Super Citizen Program and Next Great Americans Bus Tour across the state.
