On July 4th, 2012, Liberty Learning Foundation joined forces with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center to celebrate our nation’s independence.
The festivities actually began on July 1st when our Next Great Americans Tour’s star, Lady Liberty Live, began performances at the Space & Rocket Center’s theater preceding showings of the Liberty Learning-produced Still Standing WWII Documentary. She capped off her on-site residency with a rousing performance under the Space Shuttle on the 4th!
“We’re thrilled to be part of the 4th of July festivities at the Space & Rocket Center,” says LLF founder Patti Yancey. “I can’t imagine a more fitting backdrop to illustrate the incredible accomplishments possible through education, ingenuity and the unbridled American spirit.
