One hundered and eighty five third graders from Winston Co. Schools welcomed the Next Great Americans Bus Tour and Lady Liberty today! Thanks to AlaTrade Foods, these students enjoyed an exciting educational performance to kick off the Super Citizen Program in Addison, Double Springs, Meek and Lynn Schools. The program teaches civics, character, ethics, financial literacy, careers and our Great American Story despite school budget cuts and less time for these crucial subjects in the school day. Special thanks to Superintendents Greg Pendley & Sarah Ritter – along with Asst. Superintendent Danny Springer for being on hand to show their support as well.
