Huntsville Signs and Salutes - Liberty Learning Foundation

Huntsville businesses and citizens from all across North Alabama came together to add their names to the Huntsville Signs & Salutes banner that was presented to more than 450 WWII Veterans at “Victory Day” Monday Aug. 10, 2015.

The Victory Day celebration marked the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and attracted an over-capacity crowd at Huntsville’s Davidson Center and the Space and Rocket Center.

In keeping with its mission to teach students the importance of civics, character and social studies, Liberty Learning Foundation drove its Next Great Americans tour bus to several area locations where they gathered signatures and the video footage of this historic event.
